Industrial Cable Ties — Factory-Direct Supplier & Manufacturer
When a cable tie lets go on a factory floor, a solar array, or a construction site, the cost is never just the tie — it is the re-work, the downtime, and the safety risk that follow. Standard hardware-store zip ties crack in UV, go brittle in the cold, and snap under real load.
We manufacture industrial cable ties in our own factory in Yueqing, Wenzhou, China since 1997 — molded from 100% virgin nylon 6/6 in 50–250 lb strengths and 4″–48″ lengths, UV-black for outdoor use, and UL Listed (UL 62275 / Type 21S), ISO 9001:2015, RoHS, REACH, and CE compliant. Buy factory-direct: wholesale pricing, flexible MOQ, free samples, and OEM / private label.

Key Features of Our Industrial Cable Ties

Real virgin nylon PA66
We mold from 100% virgin PA66 resin, never recycled regrind, so the tensile rating you see is the strength you get — ties that hold their load instead of snapping mid-install.

Genuine load ratings
Our 50–250 lb ratings are real tested loop-tensile figures, so panel builders and contractors can size a tie with confidence and avoid the silent failures that come from over-optimistic spec sheets.

True UV protection
Our black ties are stabilised for 7–10 years of continuous sunlight, which means an outdoor or solar install stays secure for years rather than cracking apart after a single season.

Wide temperature range
From -40°F to +185°F, the same tie performs in a freezing warehouse and a hot engine bay, so you can standardise on one product instead of stocking several.

Fire-safe, non-combustible body
A UL 94 V-2 self-extinguishing rating makes our ties safe inside control panels, enclosures, and data centres where a non-rated tie would be a liability.

Low insertion, strong lock
A smooth pawl and self-locking head let the tie feed fast and grip hard, which speeds up big bundling jobs while keeping every tie secure under vibration.

How to Choose the Right Industrial Cable Tie
Not sure which tie you need? Work through these four steps and you will have the right product in under a minute.
- Measure your bundle diameter, then pick a length that wraps it with room to lock — as a rule, tie length should be at least three times the bundle diameter.
- Decide indoor or outdoor. Anything exposed to sunlight or weather should be UV-stabilised black; natural ties are for indoor use only.
- Match the load. Light indoor bundles are fine at 50–120 lb; outdoor and construction work wants 175 lb; heavy machinery, scaffolding, and large bundles need 250 lb.
- Check the environment. For chemicals, salt, heat, or fire exposure, step up to stainless steel or a specialty material rather than standard nylon.
Not sure? Send us your bundle size, environment, and load — we will recommend the exact tie and send free samples before you commit to an order.
Installation Tips & Common Mistakes to Avoid
A good tie installed badly still fails. Keep these points in mind on site.
- Do not over-tighten. Crushing the bundle can damage cable insulation and pre-stress the tie; tension until snug, not biting.
- Use a tensioning tool for volume work. A proper cut-off tool applies consistent tension and trims flush, removing the sharp tails that hand-cutting leaves behind.
- Leave a small tail. Trim close but not flush against the head — a tiny tail prevents the tie from slipping back through under vibration.
- Match the tie to the temperature. Installing brittle, cold-soaked ties can crack the head; let ties reach working temperature before tensioning in extreme cold.
- Do not reuse single-use ties. Standard ties are one-time fasteners; if you need to open and re-close a bundle, specify releasable or reusable ties instead.
Industrial Cable Ties vs Standard Zip Ties
The difference shows up exactly where it matters — outdoors, under load, and over time.
Feature | Our industrial grade | Standard household zip ties |
|---|---|---|
Tensile strength | 50 – 250 lb (tested loop) | 18 – 50 lb |
UV resistance | 7–10 years (black UV) | 6–12 months before cracking |
Temperature range | -40°F to +185°F | ~32°F to 120°F |
Material | 100% virgin nylon 6/6 | Often recycled nylon 6 |
Flammability | UL 94 V-2 self-extinguishing | Usually unrated |
Chemical / moisture | Resists oils, salt, solvents | Degrades quickly |
Best for | Factories, solar, marine, machinery | Light home & office use |
Which Industrial Cable Tie Material Should You Choose?
Nylon covers most industrial jobs, but the right material depends on heat, chemicals, and fire exposure. Use this to narrow it down, then follow the link for full specs.
Material | Best for |
|---|---|
Nylon 6/6 (standard) | General industrial bundling, indoor & outdoor with UV black — the default choice |
Nylon 12 | Higher chemical and solvent resistance, low moisture absorption |
Stainless steel 304/316 | Extreme heat, fire, corrosion, marine and offshore environments |
UV-stabilised black nylon | Long-term direct sunlight: solar, rooftop, outdoor infrastructure |

Industries We Serve
Our industrial cable ties keep cables, cords, and components secure across demanding sectors worldwide.

Electrical & Telecom
From panel building and conduit runs to data-centre cabling, our UL 94 V-2 rated ties keep wiring secure where fire safety is non-negotiable. The self-extinguishing nylon makes them safe inside enclosures, control panels, and server rooms.

Automotive & Manufacturing
Engine-bay harnessing and production-line bundling have to survive heat, oil, and constant vibration without loosening. Our virgin nylon 6/6 ties hold their grip and resist the fluids found across the shop floor.

Construction & Infrastructure
Scaffolding, temporary works, and site wiring demand 175–250 lb strength that will not fail under load. UV-stabilised black ties stay intact through months of sun, rain, and rough handling on site.

Solar & Renewable Energy
Rooftop and ground-mount arrays need fasteners that last as long as the panels themselves. Our UV-black ties are stabilised for 7–10 years of direct sunlight, so cable runs stay secured for the life of the installation.

Marine & Offshore
Salt spray, humidity, and corrosive air quickly destroy ordinary fasteners. For these conditions we recommend stainless steel or high-grade nylon ties built to resist corrosion and hold firm offshore.

Food, Beverage & Pharma
Hygienic and contamination-sensitive lines require ties that meet strict safety standards. Metal-detectable and specialty ties help protect product integrity and support compliance in processing environments.
