Verifiable certifications, not just logos
Wenzhou Difvan Electric Co., Ltd runs all three ISO management systems — 9001, 14001 and 45001 — and backs the products themselves with UL, TÜV Rheinland, SGS and BST documentation. Every number below is printed on the scan. Click any certificate to read the original.
All three ISO systems, certified and current
Quality, environment and worker safety — the trio most distributor onboarding forms ask for. All three were issued to Wenzhou Difvan Electric Co., Ltd by ZhongTai Union Certification Co., Ltd under CNAS accreditation C211-M, and all three are audited at least once a year. Click a certificate to read it.
Scope, stated plainly: all three certificates register their scope as nylon cable tie / zip tie production. They are management-system certificates for that operation, not product certificates, and they do not extend to our cable glands, lugs or terminal blocks — although those are made at the same facility. Every certificate can be checked at ztccc.cn or in the CNCA public register at cnca.gov.cn.
The two documents buyers ask for by name
A management system certificate says how we work. These two say what the product actually is — independently tested, with reference numbers you can check without contacting us.
UL Recognized Component — UL 62275, Edition 2
UL evaluated representative samples of Difvan nylon cable ties against the component requirements of UL 62275, Edition 2 — the safety standard for cable ties used in electrical installations. The certificate is issued directly to Wenzhou Difvan Electric Co., Ltd at our Liushi, Yueqing factory address, not to a trading company.
Read it correctly: this is a UL Recognized Component certification, not a UL Listing. Recognized components are intended for installation in complete equipment that is itself submitted to UL, and only product bearing the UL Recognized Component Mark is covered under UL’s Follow-Up Services. Verify the file yourself at iq.ulprospector.com.
SGS RoHS Test Report — nylon cable ties, result: Pass
An 8-page third-party test report from SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services Co., Ltd. Ningbo Branch. Samples of Difvan nylon cable ties were tested against EU RoHS Directive (EU) 2015/863, which amends Annex II of Directive 2011/65/EU to add the four restricted phthalates alongside the original six substances. The stated conclusion is Pass.
Why this matters: a test report names the laboratory, the sample, the method and the date — a supplier self-declaration names none of those. The report’s authenticity can be checked with SGS directly at check.sgsonline.com.cn using report number NGBPC24007626501, or via the QR code printed on the report.

Plain-language explanations for buyers
The international standard for quality management systems. It confirms that production — from raw material sourcing to final inspection — follows a documented, consistently applied system rather than ad hoc checks, and that the system is externally audited every year.
Our certificate (No. 29024Q12400-07R0S, to GB/T 19001-2016 idt ISO 9001:2015) registers its scope as the production of nylon cable ties and runs to 29 July 2027. It certifies the system, not any individual product. See our quality control process →
The environmental counterpart to ISO 9001. It certifies that the environmental impacts of production — waste, emissions, energy and material use, and legal compliance — are managed under a documented system that is audited at least once a year.
Certificate No. 29024E11742-07R0S, valid to 19 October 2028. Increasingly a hard requirement in EU and UK tenders and in the supplier questionnaires large distributors send before onboarding.
The occupational health and safety management standard. It certifies that workplace hazards are identified, controlled and reviewed under a documented system — machine guarding, safe working procedures, incident reporting and worker consultation.
Certificate No. 29024S11684-07R0S, to GB/T 45001-2020 idt ISO 45001:2018, valid to 29 July 2027. For buyers running ethical or ESG supplier audits, this is the certificate that answers the labour-conditions question with a third-party document rather than a self-assessment.
UL 62275 is the safety standard for cable ties used in electrical installations. Our certificate covers nylon cable ties as a Recognized Component under file E225194 — UL tested representative samples, and the ties may be used inside end products that are themselves submitted to UL.
A Recognized Component is not the same as a UL Listed end product, and only ties carrying the UL Recognized Component Mark are covered by UL’s Follow-Up Services. If your specification requires UL, ask us to confirm the mark is printed on the exact part number you are ordering. Browse nylon cable ties →
A Constructional Data Form is the technical annex to a TÜV Rheinland certification: it records exactly what was assessed and what the product is declared to do, model by model. Ours (certificate R50557065 0001-0003, dated 23 September 2022) names Wenzhou Difvan Electric as both licence holder and factory — the factory line matters, because it means TÜV assessed the plant that actually makes the ties.
Declared on the form: Type 1 cable tie, non-flame propagating, declared operating temperature for the application −15 °C to 85 °C with a minimum installation temperature of −15 °C, and — usefully for outdoor buyers — resistance to ultraviolet light declared for black ties, not declared for white. If you are specifying for outdoor or UV-exposed use, that single line is the reason to choose black. See UV-resistant zip ties →
Restricts specific hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products: lead, mercury, cadmium and hexavalent chromium, the PBB and PBDE flame retardants, and the four phthalates DEHP, BBP, DBP and DIBP added by Directive (EU) 2015/863.
Our nylon cable ties were tested against all ten by SGS in December 2024 (report NGBPC24007626501) with a stated conclusion of Pass. That is a laboratory result, not a supplier self-declaration.
An EU regulation governing chemical substances in manufactured goods. Our declaration confirms Difvan products do not contain SVHCs above the 0.1% w/w threshold that would trigger notification or communication duties for you as the importer. It is issued per batch or per shipment on request, so the declaration you receive matches the goods you are actually buying.
CE marking indicates a product meets the EU health, safety and environmental requirements of the directives that apply to it, so it can legally be placed on the EEA market. For these product types CE is declared by the manufacturer, supported by third-party test reports rather than by a notified body — which is the correct route.
Cable glands — our current evidence is a Certificate of Compliance from BST Testing (Shenzhen), No. BSTXD190913336509EC dated 15 October 2023, covering models M, G, PG and NPT against the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU and standards EN 61000-6-3, EN 61000-3-2, EN 61000-3-3 and EN 61000-6-1. An earlier declaration for metal glands (test report CNB3110224-00459-E, CTS 2015) remains on file and is listed in the directory above. As BST prints on the certificate, it applies to the tested samples and is not an assessment of whole production.
Terminal blocks — a Certificate of Compliance from ISET S.r.l. (Italy), No. IT1724SC30071817, issued 29 July 2023 and valid to 30 July 2028, against both the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU. As ISET states on the certificate, the verification is voluntary, a technical construction file is in place, and it does not imply an assessment of production — CE marking and the EC declaration remain the manufacturer’s duty.
SGS is an independent testing, inspection and certification body. An SGS test report is evidence that samples were tested in a third-party laboratory to a named method — it is the document most EU and US buyers accept when they need proof rather than a supplier statement. Ours was issued by the SGS-CSTC Ningbo Branch laboratory and can be authenticated directly with SGS.
Certification isn’t blanket across every product — here’s exactly what applies where
We would rather tell you a certificate does not apply than let you find out at customs.

Common questions about our certifications
Is Difvan ISO certified?+
Yes — all three of the standards buyers usually ask for, each issued to Wenzhou Difvan Electric Co., Ltd by ZhongTai Union Certification Co., Ltd under CNAS accreditation C211-M:
ISO 9001:2015 (quality) — cert. 29024Q12400-07R0S, valid to 29 July 2027.
ISO 14001:2015 (environmental) — cert. 29024E11742-07R0S, valid to 19 October 2028.
ISO 45001:2018 (occupational health & safety) — cert. 29024S11684-07R0S, valid to 29 July 2027.
All three register their scope as nylon cable tie / zip tie production and are audited at least once a year. You can verify each one at ztccc.cn or in the CNCA public register at cnca.gov.cn.
Are Difvan cable ties UL certified?+
Yes. Our nylon cable ties hold a UL Certificate of Compliance under UL 62275, Edition 2, certificate number UL | 20120702-E225194, issued to Wenzhou Difvan Electric Co., Ltd and valid to 19 October 2028.
It is a Recognized Component certification rather than a UL Listing, and it applies to the product designations named in the certificate addendum — ask us to confirm the specific part number you intend to order. Stainless steel ties, glands and lugs are not covered by this file.
Are the cable ties UV resistant?+
Black ties are; white ties are not declared as UV resistant. That is not our marketing claim — it is what is recorded on our TÜV Rheinland Constructional Data Form (certificate R50557065), which states “Resistant to ultraviolet light (for black)” and “Not declared (for white)”.
The same form declares the ties non-flame propagating, Type 1, with a declared operating temperature for the application of −15 °C to 85 °C. For outdoor, rooftop or solar installations, specify black. See UV-resistant zip ties →
Are Difvan cable ties RoHS compliant, and can you prove it?+
Yes. SGS tested our nylon cable ties against EU RoHS Directive (EU) 2015/863 — lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBB, PBDE and the phthalates DEHP, BBP, DBP and DIBP — and the report concludes Pass.
Report number NGBPC24007626501, dated 30 December 2024, issued by SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services Co., Ltd. Ningbo Branch. It covers sizes from 2.5×100 mm up to 12×1000 mm. The full 8-page report is sent on request, and its authenticity can be checked with SGS at check.sgsonline.com.cn.
Which products carry the CE mark?+
Cable glands — covered by a Certificate of Compliance from BST Testing (Shenzhen), No. BSTXD190913336509EC dated 15 October 2023, for models M, G, PG and NPT against the current EMC Directive 2014/30/EU. An earlier declaration covering metal glands (CTS, test report CNB3110224-00459-E) is also on file and shown in the directory above.
Terminal blocks — Certificate of Compliance No. IT1724SC30071817 from ISET S.r.l. (Italy), valid to 30 July 2028, against the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU. For other lines we confirm CE status per part number before you order; see the coverage table above.
Do the ISO certificates cover every product you make?+
No, and we would rather say so. The registered scope printed on all three ISO certificates is nylon cable tie / zip tie production. Our glands, lugs, terminal blocks and heat shrink tubing are manufactured at the same certified facility under the same management systems, but they sit outside that registered scope.
If your onboarding process requires an ISO certificate whose scope names the specific product you are buying, tell us the product and we will confirm exactly what we can document before you place an order.
How do I verify the UL certificate myself?+
Search file number E225194 in UL’s online certifications directory at iq.ulprospector.com. Verification is free and does not require you to contact us.
Are the certificates in Difvan’s own name, or a trading company’s?+
All certificates are issued to Wenzhou Difvan Electric Co., Ltd at our own factory address: No.1 HongQi Road, Xinguang Industrial Zone, Liushi, Yueqing, Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China 325603. The TÜV Rheinland form names that address as both licence holder and factory, and the ISO certificates name it as registered, office and production site. You can see the issued-to line on every scan above.
Can I get the original certificate file, not just an image?+
Yes. Full-resolution PDF copies — including the UL addendum page listing covered product designations, all four pages of the TÜV Constructional Data Form, and all 8 pages of the SGS report with the per-substance results — are sent on request for customs, vendor onboarding, or audit purposes.
